About the Unannounced scanner
If you found this page, one of our automated browser agents visited a website you operate or monitor. This page explains what the scanner is, the rules it runs under, and how to reach us or opt out.
01What the scanner is
Unannounced is a website-readiness service. With a site owner's permission, we send real AI browser agents - the same kind of automation consumers now use through tools like Claude and ChatGPT - to attempt the everyday tasks a customer would delegate: find the opening hours, read the menu, locate a product, start a booking, reach a checkout. Every attempt is recorded so the owner can see exactly where an AI customer succeeds or gives up.
The agent identifies itself in its User-Agent string, which links back to this page.
02Permission only
We only scan a website after its owner, or someone authorized to act for it, has requested a scan and attested that they own or are authorized to act for that site. We do not crawl the open web, and we never scan a site on our own initiative.
If a scan is running against your site and you did not authorize it, tell us and we will stop immediately and block the domain. Contact: vvp916@gmail.com.
03What it never does
- It never submits a booking, reservation, or order. It is hard-stopped before any final confirm, reserve, pay, or place-order button.
- It never enters payment information and never pays for anything.
- It never uses real personal data. If a form must be exercised to prove it works, only obvious dummy test details are used.
- It never creates accounts, and it makes no changes to your site or your systems.
- It uses no special access, credentials, or hidden hints. It behaves like an ordinary visitor.
04Contact and opt-out
To ask a question, request removal of a report, or block your domain from all future scans, email vvp916@gmail.com with the domain. We honor opt-out requests promptly.
